Be one of the first to use ShowFee.

ShowFee is now on Google Play as a test version, and I'm looking for a small group of performers and freelancers to try it first. It takes two minutes to join, and your feedback will shape the app.

Become a tester โ€“ 3 quick steps

Android phones only ยท You'll need a Google (Gmail) account

Join in 3 steps

Do these on your Android phone, signed in with the Google account you use for the Play Store.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Came here from Facebook or Instagram?

Their built-in browser isn't signed in to Google, so the group page says "Content unavailable". Tap the โ‹ฎ menu (top right) and choose Open in Chrome (or "Open in browser") first, then follow the steps below.

Join the tester group

Tap below and choose Join group. Google uses this list to let you in.

Join the group

Become a tester

Open the Google Play test page and tap Become a tester.

Open test page

Install ShowFee

Install it from Google Play like any other app. If it says "Item not found", don't worry โ€“ see the tips below.

Get it on Google Play

Something not working? It's almost always one of these

  • "Content unavailable" or "You don't have permission" on the group page โ€“ you're not signed in. Tap Sign in (top right) with your Google account, then Join group.
  • "Item not found" in the Play Store โ€“ completely normal right after joining. Google needs 15โ€“30 minutes (sometimes a bit longer) to let you in. Wait, then tap Get it on Google Play again.
  • Still "Item not found" after that? In the Play Store, tap your profile picture and check it's the same Google account you joined the group with. If it is, go to your phone's Settings โ†’ Apps โ†’ Google Play Store โ†’ Storage โ†’ Clear cache and try again.
  • "Become a tester" says you're already a tester โ€“ great, you're in! Just go to step 3.

Then just keep it for 14 days and add a booking or two. Stuck? Email showfee.app@gmail.com and I'll help.

Why I need you

Google only lets a new app go public after at least 12 people have tested it for 14 days in a row. I'm a working singer who built ShowFee to stop chasing payments in notes and memory, and now I'd love other performers to use it too. Your two weeks gets it onto the Play Store for everyone.

What I ask

  • Stay signed up for 14 days. Leaving and rejoining restarts the count.
  • Open it now and then. Add a real or pretend booking and try an invoice.
  • Tell me what you think, good or bad, at showfee.app@gmail.com.
  • Try ShowFee Pro free for a month if you like. Cancel in Google Play before the month ends and you won't pay anything.

Your data stays yours

  • Everything stays on your phone. ShowFee has no servers.
  • No ads, no tracking.
  • Your email stays private โ€“ other testers can't see who's in the group.
